Rādhārāṇī Braja Yatra 2012: Day 9 Śeṣayī,Nandavan and Kharot

From the pandal near Chamelivan we came to the first village Hatana. Here is where Kāmadeva thought he could best overwhelm Lord Kṛṣṇa with his 5 special arrows. When he tries to do that Śrī Kṛṣṇa just glances at Kāmadeva, and he faints.

This is the rasa lila, where Kṛṣṇa disappears and comes back after some time.

Then the gopis sang the Gopi gita in Kokilavan in separation.

The gopis ask Him “Where did you go?” Kṛṣṇa said, “I had to go to protect one of my devotees, Puskar Dvipa at Dhati Mandak place. This sage has been meditating on me for 2 Manvantaras(60 krores years).” At that time big fish came and swallowed him. Then one Paundra demon came and ate that fish. The Lord killed the demon and retrieved the sage from the stomach of the fish.

In the Gita 9.22 Krsna promises;

ananyāś cintayanto māṁ
ye janāḥ paryupāsate
teṣāṁ nityābhiyuktānāṁ
yoga-kṣemaṁ vahāmy aham

But those who always worship Me with exclusive devotion, meditating on My transcendental form—to them I carry what they lack, and I preserve what they have.

Kṛṣṇa said, “I had to go there to save him. Then I went to Śvetadvīpa to take some rest on Śeṣayī.”

Nandavan and Kharot

“The devotees of Mine have no desire for anything. I am always behind him. I take the dust from their lotus feet.”

In the 11th canto He says, “My devotees are greater than Me. I am God because of the service of My devotees. All my parts and parcels come to Me through service to My devotees. I have no desire for Lakṣmī devi but she still comes and stays with Me. I just want to serve My devotees.”

When the gopis said, “You went to rest there on Śeṣayī, so please show us that rupa.” Kṛṣṇa fulfilled the desire of the Brajabāsīs. He wanted to show but ‘Who’ will be Lakṣmī? Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī became Lakṣmī so they can have this cherished darshan.

All the demigoddesses come from Rādhārāṇī and She can show those forms, but they cannot take Rādhārāṇī’s form. Kṛṣṇa showed them the form of Narayana with Lakṣmī in the deep ocean. That was the Ashtabhuja dhari rupa with Śeṣanaga.

Baba Śrī refelected, “The fight for saving the mountains was won by the Brajabāsīs not me. So in this battle for the Yamuna also we will win with the help of the Brajabāsīs and devotees and all should come on the 1st of March, 2013.”

Śiva was told that he should not see the Mohini rupa, but he just had to see this form and could not control himself, Brahmā also was affected by Kāmadeva and ran after Sarasvatī attracted by his daughter’s beauty.

When Kāmadeva went to Nāradaji, Nārada told him, “I can not even handle such a test , however you should go to Sri Kṛṣṇa then try your powers on him and see if you can defeat Him, it will be impossible.” Kāmadeva asked, “What kind of battle of killing should be fought(like in a palace or fort) or elsewhere where everyone can see.”

Kṛṣṇa later remarked, “There should be a Maiden fight, where there are thousands of extremely beautiful gopis from many groups, even the śrutis will come for this rasa.” That is the time Kāmadeva came, when Sri Kṛṣṇa was embracing the gopis, and Kāmadeva threw his arrows thinking that he had already won.

The gopis and goddesses were so beautiful like an assortment of unlimited jewels. They all surpassed the beauty of Lakṣmī, and were filled with so much love for the Lord. In this rasa dance, there was one Kṛṣṇa between each two gopis.

In the universe everyone is defeated by Kāmadeva, but Kṛṣṇa showed such a beautiful, opulent svarūpa that Kāmadeva just fainted. Nandasji, a great saint, wrote; Kāmadeva had such ahankara(false ego) and threw so many arrows, but Kṛṣṇa defeated him.

Chaturajisi sastra;

Siva when challenged by Kamadeva killed him, however with Rādhārāṇī’s mercy Śrī Kṛṣṇa did not kill Kāmadeva, but allowed him to faint, then he just fainted and then left.

Rādhārāṇī’s name is not revealed in the Bhagavatam but in the Garga samhita.

No matter how much difficulty we go through never ever leave God’s name. Never ever worry; Kali will be defeated by the nama.

Baba Śrī mentioned, that even up us at Maan Mandir so many difficulties have come and are still coming but we always overcome because of Harinama.

In the Gopi gita, 9th sloka;

tava katha amrutam tapta jivanam
kavi bhiriditam kalpashaham
sravan mangalam sri madatam
bhruvi goadhanti te bhurida janaha

The great devotees have taught us how to always give harinama dana(to donate the holy name). This is very important as is shown by Mahāprabhu Caitanya and Nityananda and many others.

So many years back I even visited Kolkata to see how devotees are singing on the roads and public places. Unfortunately, today the same emphasis is not there in the singing of Harinama as it was in the time of Mahaprabhu.

Here Kṛṣṇa stubbed His large toenail.

In the night photos we have the member of the Rasa Nritya Lila, an evening presentation that takes place nightly at 10pm.

Also Śrī Ramesh Bābājī Mahārāj speaks from inside a tent to help protect his health. Nightly he is preaching like a lion speaking so quickly that the note takers cannot keep up with him.
